Melissa, an acupuncturist, discovered her true passion after a diverse career journey as an Electrical Engineer, Stay At Home Mom, La Leche League Leader, and small business owner. She obtained her Masters in Acupuncture from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine after dedicated 4-year study. Melissa offers a range of services including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, auricular therapy, and microneedling.
With extensive expertise in pain management, emotional disorders, sleep issues, and women's health, Melissa combines her experience working with families and problem-solving engineering skills to provide effective and comforting treatments.
Having resided in the West Washington Park neighborhood for over 18 years, Melissa is deeply connected to the community and has raised three children here.

Crissy Horiuchi

With over 20 years of experience in the field of healing, Crissy Horiuchi is deeply dedicated to alleviating the suffering of others. Her journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Science in Nursing, laying the foundation for her practice. Working in various hospital settings, including cancer treatment at Johns-Hopkins and palliative care in Maine, provided Crissy with a comprehensive understanding of caring for individuals on physical, mental, and emotional levels.
Motherhood further expanded Crissy's nurturing abilities, igniting her desire to connect with people on a spiritual level. Completing Karma Yoga Center's 200-hour yoga teacher training allowed her to delve into the realm of spirit and consciousness, tapping into the Divine Wisdom of the Universe. Combining modalities such as Chakra balancing, Polarity Therapy, Flower Essences, and Hands-on-Healing, Crissy believes in the transformative power of Love to bring individuals back to their center, where health and wholeness originate.
